About Swift TG Maintenance
Swift TG Maintenance was founded in 2009 to provide maintenance and technical support for a range of light aircraft and training organisations.
Managed by a highly experienced licensed aeronautical engineer and aviation specialist technicians the company has already secured major international contracts and noteworthy clients to become one of the most important constituent parts of the Swift Technology Group.
In October 2009, we were granted
EASA part M certified status, qualifying us to provide maintenance and airworthiness support for a huge range of aircraft and manufacturers.

Swift TG Maintenance alone has a management team who are amongst the most experienced Aeronautical Engineers in the UK.
Jon Pool, Chief Engineer
Jon has over 20 years experience in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, including many years working for Slingsby, overseeing EASA Part 145, Part 21 subpart G operations and with privileges to issue CAA Airworthiness Review Certificates and initial Certificate of Airworthiness certificates dealing directly with the CAA. With EASA Form 4 approval he was also the CAA ‘B’ conditions signatory for the Slingsby T.67 Firefly during its design and development, and is probably the most experienced T.67 engineer in the world.
Jon has also worked with major Air Forces from all around the world, including the United States Air Force, Royal Air Force (UK), Royal Jordanian Air Force and Royal Bahraini Air Force, supporting aircraft within these organisations. Jon was the Aircraft Programes Manager of two military purchase and support contracts at Slingsby, and did so until his time with Slingsby ended.
Dave Goddard, Chief Designer
Dave Goddard has been working in the Aviation Industry since the 1970s, and is one of the most experienced members of the Swift TG team. Having been a flight test engineer, continued airworthiness engineer and certification engineer on all derivatives of the Slingsby T67 Firefly, he is no stranger to designing aircraft.
Dave has worked as a stressman for both gliders and light aircraft and Chief Designer and Head of Design for Slingsby Aviation Ltd with EASA Form 4 approval, he is abundantly knowledgeable about the whole process of aircraft design and modification.
